Our finely crafted seiza benches are made with maple wood and sealed with an eco-friendly hard wax finish. The hinge on each side has a locking mechanism, insuring a stable sitting period. A small brand of the Mountains and Rivers Order insignia appears on one leg.
These benches also come with an optional memory foam cushion, sold separately.
Seiza is a great meditation posture for those with less hip flexibility who have trouble sitting cross-legged. The bench also keeps pressure off your feet and ankles. This tall version is great for those with larger bodies or those looking for a higher seat.
